Squash
Squash is a racquet and ball sport played by two (singles) or four players (doubles) within a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball. About 20 million people play Squash in over 185 countries. The governing body of Squash, the World Squash Federation (WSF), is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Our School has 2 National Standard squash courts with wooden flooring.
The School provides ample opportunities to the pupils to take part at various State, IPSC and National level tournaments as a result of which every year, many students from various age categories participate at the SGFI tournaments as well.
Mr. V. Jebindran, a World Squash Federation (WSF) certified Level-1 Coach trains our pupils. Our Squash team has brought many laurels to the School and also holds a National Ranking.

IPSC Squash Tournament
The U-14 girls' Squash team of The Lawrence School, Lovedale won the Silver medal at the IPSC Squash tournament conducted by the Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School,Jodhpur from 12th to 14th September 2019.

SOUTH INDIA SQUASH TOURNAMENT
The Squash players of The Lawrence School, Lovedale have won 3 silver medals and 1 bronze medals (a total of 4 medals) in the 6th SOUTH INDIA SQUASH TOURNAMENT held on 13 and 14 Oct 2018 at the JJ SPORTS ACADEMY KANYAKUMARI. Conducted by the SQUASH RACKET ASSOCIATION OF KANYAKUMARI, teams from Kerala, Chennai, Kanyakumari and Thoothukudi participated in the tournament.
