Archery

Archery is an art of using a bow to shoot an arrow within a specific distance. Archery is an Olympic sport and is an individual as well as a team event which helps boost physical development and team work. An archer needs boundless stamina, upper body and core strength to hold the bow and keep steady while aiming at the target.

Our School provides Archery coaching on a standard-size Archery field, under the supervision of Mr. Alex AT who is a NIS, AAI Level 1 Coach. The young Archery enthusiasts are trained to use all kinds of archery equipment ranging from the Basic Training Bow to the more complex Recurve and Compound bows.

The Lawrence School pupils have participated in many State, National and CBSE championships and won many titles. One of our pupils were selected for the prestigious ‘Khelo India’ program as well.
