The Lawrence School, Lovedale is one of the oldest and finest educational institutes in India. It is a 165 year-old co-educational, residential, CBSE school in the Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu, offering education to children from Classes V to XII. It invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Headmistress/ Headmaster.
The Headmistress/Headmaster of The Lawrence School, Lovedale will be a person with an exceptional track record in school education, proven leadership qualities and relevant administrative experience. The candidate will report to the Board of Governors and will have to mange and direct interactions with various stakeholders including students, teachers, parents, alumni and local administration.
Applicants must have both post graduate degree and a degree in education, with at least 15 years of overall experience in schools/educational institutions of repute. Applicants would ideally be aged between 45 and 55 years. Weightage will be given to relevant experience in co-educational and/or residential schools, preferably at the level of Head or Deputy Head.
The position is contractual in nature. Emoluments are benchmarked against the best residential public schools in the country. The overall package and benefits will take into consideration the candidate's experience and current compensation.
