The Lawrence School Library is one of the oldest libraries in the Nilgiris. It provides information, inculcate ideas, develop knowledge, equip students with lifelong learning skills and develop in them creativity and imagination. This rich academic resource Centre is open to all students and staff of this School.

 The Library has around 26,000 documents consisting of books, Cassettes, CDs, VCDs, DVDs etc., on various disciplines. It has thousands of books in Indian Languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam etc., In addition to the main library, which is primarily for students from 7th standards onwards, there is also a separate library for Prep section.

 More than 80 Magazines in various languages have been subscribed on variety of subject to keep abreast the readers on their liking of subjects. Multiple copies of News papers in English, Hindi, Malayalam & Tamil are being subscribed in the library.

 Book Review and Book talk in the school assemble, Story telling competition, Book Club / Literary club, Holiday Assignment and Library orientation are some of activities being conducted in promoting Reading habits among the pupils.

 There are computers with internet connection for browsing. The Library is in the process of reintroducing the library automation.

 Monday to Saturday :             08:30 a.m. to 01:30 p.m.

                                                        02:30 p.m. to 04:30 p.m.
